Garrison Keillor and Monarques pt. 1

So I just got off the phone with a woman who works for Garrison Keillor and Prairie Home Companion. Monarques is one of 5 bands chosen to perform for GK's "Battle of the Bands" at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center live on NPR on April 17th. WHAAAAATT!!?? Yeah. We get to play 3 songs in front of 3000 people and be broadcast around the world. This is craziness.

Vice Magazine finds the last two people living in a remote area of Northeastern Alaska. Pretty non-intrusive as far as Vice style goes and really cool guy for being a weird isolationist survival dude.
